President Trump Addresses Nation on “Operation Epic Fury” and Iran Conflict
President Donald Trump delivered a national address outlining the scope of “Operation Epic Fury,” describing it as one of the largest and most complex military offensives ever conducted by the United States and its partners.
Trump said U.S. forces struck hundreds of targets across Iran, including facilities linked to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and Iranian air defense systems. He stated that nine naval vessels and a naval facility were destroyed within minutes during the operation.
The president declared that Iran’s former supreme leader, Ali Khamenei, is dead and said Iran’s military command structure has been dismantled. He claimed that some Iranian officials are seeking surrender and immunity.
Trump confirmed that three U.S. service members were killed in action, citing information from United States Central Command (CENTCOM). He expressed condolences to the families of the fallen and said combat operations remain ongoing until U.S. objectives are achieved.
The president reiterated that the United States will not allow Iran to possess nuclear weapons or long-range missile capabilities, calling such a scenario an unacceptable threat to American security. He urged members of Iran’s Revolutionary Guard, military, and police forces to lay down their arms and accept immunity, while calling on the Iranian people to “take back” their country.
Trump concluded by reaffirming U.S. support for Israel and pledging continued military action to prevent what he described as a radical regime from threatening the United States and its allies.
