Trump Says He’s Open to Talks With Iran Officials

President Donald Trump told The Atlantic he is open to direct talks with Iran’s new leadership, confirming that Iranian officials have made contact.

He cautioned that U.S. military operations will continue during any negotiations.

Within hours, the Israel Defense Forces launched additional airstrikes targeting IRGC missile sites and command infrastructure in Tehran.

An IDF spokesperson said operations are expanding and additional senior Iranian commanders have been eliminated.

The IDF also urged the Iranian people to oppose the regime, emphasizing that Israel’s fight is with Iran’s leadership, not its citizens.
