The Movement Behind ‘Make America Healthy Again’

Robert F. Kennedy Jr., now serving as U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services in the second Trump administration, has released his first major health report under the “Make America Healthy Again” (MAHA) movement.

The commission’s findings highlight a troubling rise in chronic illness among American children—linking the trend to ultra-processed food, environmental chemicals, chronic stress, and what the report describes as the overprescription of medications and vaccines.

The MAHA initiative, launched following Kennedy’s endorsement of Donald Trump in 2024, positions itself as a national movement to overhaul public health policy in the United States.

The 2025 report, backed by MAHA activists, calls for new research into food quality, chemical exposure, and drug safety. It also draws attention to herbicides like glyphosate and atrazine, long debated for their health impacts.

While critics argue Kennedy continues to fuel misinformation around vaccines and health science, MAHA supporters view the report as a first step toward reforming food systems, pharmaceutical regulation, and chronic illness surveillance in the U.S.

The initiative also serves as a political platform for Kennedy’s vision of a healthier America, sparking renewed debates on the role of government, science, and wellness in national policy.
