Russia Unleashes Record Missile, Drone Strike on Ukraine

Russia launched its largest aerial assault on Ukraine since the war began, deploying 728 drones and 13 missiles in a strike that killed at least one civilian and targeted regions near NATO member Poland.

Ukraine’s air defenses intercepted most of the attack, but the strike comes just as the US reaffirmed military support and as Ukraine pushes for tougher sanctions against Russia.

With rising civilian casualties and limited diplomatic progress, the conflict shows no signs of de-escalation.
