Peru Restaurant Crowned Best in the World for 2025

Maido, a Japanese-Peruvian fusion restaurant in Lima, Peru, founded by chef Mitsuharu “Micha” Tsumura, has been named the best restaurant in the world for 2025 by the prestigious World’s 50 Best Restaurants list.

Known for its innovative blend of Japanese and Peruvian flavors, Maido topped the global ranking, followed by Spain’s Asador Etxebarri and Mexico City’s Quintonil.
