NFL to Review Steve Tisch Emails Linked to Jeffrey Epstein

The NFL announced it will review communications involving New York Giants co-owner Steve Tisch and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein after Tisch’s name appeared in more than 400 emails released by the U.S. Department of Justice. Many of the emails, dating from 2013, show Epstein arranging meetings and introducing Tisch to several women.

Tisch has said the exchanges were brief and involved topics such as adult women, movies, and philanthropy. He emphasized that he never accepted Epstein’s invitations, did not visit Epstein’s private island, and expressed regret over any association with him.

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell stated the league will examine all facts and context under its personal conduct policy before deciding on any discipline. Analysts note the review comes amid heightened scrutiny as Super Bowl week unfolds.
