Milo: The AI Robot That Delivers Right to Your Door

A Swiss robotics company has unveiled Milo, an AI-powered delivery robot designed to handle the most challenging part of logistics—the “last mile” from a delivery truck to a customer’s door.

RIVR Robotics showcased Milo at NVIDIA’s annual software developer conference, demonstrating its ability to navigate sidewalks, climb steps, and even hand packages directly to customers. Equipped with four legs, wheels, and a robotic arm, the autonomous robot can adjust to obstacles in real-time using AI technology.

The company has already deployed Milo in Switzerland for real-world deliveries and is now planning an expansion into U.S. cities like San Francisco and Boston.

RIVR CEO Marko Bjelonic says the goal is to assist delivery drivers by handling short-distance trips, making the process more efficient and reducing labor strain.
