In a First for Madame Tussauds’ History, 13 Taylor Swift Eras Come to Life

In its most ambitious project to date, Madame Tussauds unveiled 13 new Taylor Swift wax figures in 13 cities worldwide, including New York, London, Sydney, and Shanghai.

The global tribute commemorates Swift’s record-breaking “Eras Tour” and her iconic style evolution over the years. Each figure represents a distinct musical “era” of Swift’s career, with outfits inspired by the looks she wore in the same cities where the museums are located.

More than 40 artists worked over 14 months to create the replicas, incorporating pieces designed by fashion icons such as Roberto Cavalli, Vivienne Westwood, Zuhair Murad, and Versace.

Some outfits were directly replicated by the original designers, while others were recreated in-house with approval. The result is a globally synchronized showcase that pays tribute to Swift’s cultural and artistic impact.

Among the 13 figures, one will go on tour, starting with a residency in Shanghai. The project highlights Swift’s unmatched global influence not only in music, but in fashion and pop culture, with Madame Tussauds calling it the “most ambitious project” in their 250-year history.
