LEGO and Crocs Unveil Playful Brick Clog Collaboration

In a surprising new collaboration, toymaker Lego and footwear brand Crocs have launched the “Lego Brick Clog,” a bright-red, oversized shoe designed to look exactly like a classic two-by-four Lego brick, complete with four studs on the upper.

The clog, which uses Crocs’ signature foam material and features a sole patterned after the bottom of a Lego brick, is marketed as a collectible item “not intended for all-day wear,” coming with a Lego minifigure that has its own miniature Crocs.

As the first product in a planned multi-year partnership that will include more toys and wearables, the launch has ignited a wave of strong opinions online, largely due to its premium price point of about $250.

This bold fashion move follows Crocs’ previous controversial collaboration with art collective MSCHF on thigh-high boots, cementing the brand’s strategy of turning playful, nostalgic concepts into high-profile, statement-making wearable collectibles.
