KRG Launches Ambitious ‘Visit Kurdistan’ Initiative to Welcome 20M Visitors by 2035
Kurdistan Region Prime Minister Masrour Barzani officially launched the “Visit Kurdistan” initiative, a major tourism campaign designed to position the region as a leading international travel destination.
With a goal of attracting over 20 million tourists by 2035, the project will create hundreds of jobs and develop essential infrastructure, including a 10-kilometer cable car in the town of Soran.
The initiative also features a modern digital platform for seamless hotel and travel bookings, as Kurdistan prepares to open its doors to the world.
