Idaho Gunman Kills 2 Firefighters in Deadly Wildfire Ambush

A deadly wildfire attack in Idaho’s Kootenai County left two firefighters dead and another injured after a lone gunman allegedly started the fire and ambushed emergency responders with high-powered rifles.

Authorities found the suspect dead on Canfield Mountain following an hours-long standoff.
