Hungry Visitor Eats $6M Banana Taped to Wall in French Museum

Maurizio Cattelan’s infamous artwork “Comedian” — a banana duct-taped to a wall — has made headlines once again after a visitor at a French museum ate it.

The piece, which critiques the art market’s excesses, has been consumed before — notably by its $6.2 million buyer, Justin Sun.

Museum staff quickly replaced the banana as per instructions.
