Trump Dynasty 2.0? Eric Trump Hints at 2028 White House Bid

As Donald Trump serves his second term in the White House, eyes are already turning toward the next U.S. election, and within his own family.

In a recent interview with The Guardian, Eric Trump, the 41-year-old executive vice president of the Trump Organization, hinted that he may follow in his father’s footsteps with a presidential run in 2028.

While Eric has long kept his distance from the political arena, focusing instead on the family business, he acknowledged the possibility of entering the race if needed, suggesting that if not him, another Trump could carry the torch. His older brother, Donald Trump Jr., has also left the door open, responding “maybe” when asked about a future candidacy.

The 2028 Republican nomination is expected to be highly competitive, with current Vice President J.D. Vance and Secretary of State Marco Rubio seen as frontrunners. However, the emergence of another Trump on the ballot could shake the party’s dynamics, especially if the former president throws his support behind one of his children.
