Drone Footage Reveals Devastation in Mississippi After Deadly Storms

Mississippi is reeling from the aftermath of powerful storms that tore through the region over the weekend, leaving widespread destruction and claiming six lives in the state. Drone footage released Wednesday captured uprooted trees, damaged homes, and severe structural devastation.

Governor Tate Reeves confirmed fatalities in Covington, Jefferson Davis, and Walthall counties, while the death toll across six states has risen to 36 as the storms moved east. Portions of Pennsylvania, New York, and the Mid-Atlantic remain under a National Weather Service alert for damaging winds and tornado threats.

The storms also caused massive power outages, with over 340,000 people left without electricity. As emergency response teams assess the damage, authorities warn that severe weather could continue to impact parts of the East Coast.
