Can Bad Bunny Break Halftime Records at Super Bowl 2026?

The NFL has announced that Latin superstar Bad Bunny will headline the 2026 Super Bowl halftime show at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, on February 8.

The Puerto Rican artist, born Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, brings with him a resume that highlights why he is one of the world’s most influential performers.

At just 31, he has already won three Grammys and 12 Latin Grammys, starred in major Hollywood productions including Bullet Train, Caught Stealing and Happy Gilmore 2, and collaborated with top fashion houses.

He enters this year’s Latin Grammys as the leading nominee with 12 nods, overtaking producer Édgar Barrera.

His appearance at the Super Bowl continues the tradition of halftime shows that have become iconic cultural events, from Michael Jackson’s groundbreaking 1993 performance to Beyoncé’s electrifying 2013 set and last year’s record-breaking show by Kendrick Lamar, which drew 133.5 million viewers.

Roc Nation and Apple Music will produce the event, promising another spectacle that merges music, culture, and sport on a global stage.
