Trump Administration Halts Harvard’s International Student Program

In a landmark decision, Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem revoked Harvard’s SEVP certification, halting the enrollment of nearly 6,800 international students and compelling current visa-holders to transfer or risk deportation.

The administration cited claims that Harvard fostered violence, antisemitism, and collusion with the Chinese Communist Party—charges the university vehemently denies as retaliatory and unlawful.

Harvard has pledged legal action and comprehensive support for affected students.
