White House Upgrade: Trump Unveils Lincoln Bathroom Makeover

In his latest White House transformation, President Donald Trump revealed a newly remodeled Lincoln Bathroom inside the historic Lincoln Bedroom, complete with black-and-white marble walls, gold fixtures, and a chandelier.

Trump shared images of the renovation on Truth Social, declaring that the previous 1940s art-deco green tiles were “totally inappropriate for the Lincoln Era.” According to the White House, the project was privately funded, with no taxpayer expense.

The bathroom, originally part of Abraham Lincoln’s working office, now reflects Trump’s signature taste for luxury — and his ongoing effort to reshape the presidential residence in his own style.

This remodel follows other major changes, including a $300-million ballroom project in the East Wing and a redesigned Rose Garden paved in stone. Trump described the renovation as “a tribute to American history, strength, and beauty,” emphasizing his belief in grandeur as a reflection of national pride.
