What do you know about the Iran conflict?

In an on-the-ground interview in Washington, D.C., a local resident shared concerns about the conflict involving the United States and Iran, questioning the strategy and long-term objectives behind the war.

“We attacked Iran without provocation, and it is being done very badly,” the interviewee said, arguing that the administration has not clearly explained its overall strategy or what the final outcome is expected to be.

The resident also questioned whether there was a clear post-war plan. “There was planning for what comes out at the end. We execute fine, but what is the endgame?” the person asked.

They added that the situation could worsen before improving, warning that the conflict may escalate further before any resolution is reached.

“I think the administration has not been very clear about why it is doing it,” the interviewee concluded, reflecting broader public debate in the U.S. about the purpose and trajectory of the Iran war.
