Major developments are unfolding in Operation Epic Fury, the ongoing U.S.–Israel military campaign targeting Iranian military infrastructure across the region.

President Donald Trump said Iran attempted to reach out for negotiations but warned the effort came too late, adding that the United States and Israel intend to “finish the job” as the operation continues. U.S. officials say waves of American strikes have targeted key Iranian military sites, with defense leaders stating that U.S. forces now control the skies over Iran following sustained aerial operations.

Officials have also raised concerns that Russia may be providing intelligence support to Iran, potentially helping Tehran track U.S. positions. The development has heightened fears that the conflict could widen if additional powers become involved.

U.S. Pete Hegseth said the Pentagon is preparing for the possibility of further escalation if Iranian attacks continue against U.S. or allied targets.

Meanwhile, the United States Department of State is contacting Iranian diplomatic officials around the world, reportedly offering asylum to those willing to support political change in Iran.

At the same time, U.S. officials are working to evacuate American citizens stranded across the Middle East as airports close and regional security conditions deteriorate. Military and charter flights are being organized to move civilians out of the region.

Several European allies — including Spain, Greece, Italy, and the United Kingdom — have also begun deploying naval and military assets to support Gulf partners and help protect key areas of southern Europe, including Cyprus, as tensions across the region continue to rise.
