How Russian Is Indirectly Targeting Israel’s Power Grid
A significant security breach has been revealed as Russian intelligence reportedly provided Iran with a detailed list of 55 high-priority targets within Israel’s energy infrastructure.
According to a report by the Jerusalem Post, which cited sources close to Ukrainian intelligence, the list is categorized into three strategic levels designed to maximize damage to the nation’s utility network.
The first level targets massive production facilities like the Orot Rabin power plant, while the second and third levels focus on urban energy centers and local transformer stations.
Experts highlight that because Israel operates as a “power island” without the ability to import electricity from neighboring countries, even limited precise strikes on these coordinates could lead to a catastrophic and prolonged failure of the entire national electrical grid.
