Pentagon Identifies 7th U.S. Service Member Killed in Iran War

The Pentagon has identified the seventh U.S. service member killed in the war with Iran as Benjamin N. Pennington, a 26-year-old U.S. Army sergeant from Glendale, Kentucky, USA.

Officials say Pennington died from wounds sustained during a March 1 attack at Prince Sultan Air Base.

Pennington served with the 1st Space Battalion, part of the 1st Space Brigade. The unit supports U.S. Army space and missile defense operations.
