Israel Destroys Iran’s Underground Command Bunker

The Israeli military announced it has destroyed a massive underground command bunker in the heart of Tehran that was designed to serve as an emergency shelter and secure operations center for Iran’s late Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei.

The complex, one of the most fortified command sites in Iran, was struck by approximately 50 fighter jets that dropped more than 100 heavy shells on the target.

But according to the Israeli army, Khamenei had already been killed in earlier strikes and never used the bunker.

The operation underscores the depth of Israel’s intelligence and its ability to target even the most protected military infrastructure inside Iran’s capital.

The destruction of the bunker sends a clear message about Israel’s reach—and the futility of Iran’s most secure positions.
