Hegseth: “We Have Only Just Begun”

At a Pentagon briefing, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth said the United States and Israel have only just begun dismantling Iran’s military capabilities. Four days into the operation, he stated that the campaign is intensifying and moving toward full air dominance.

Hegseth said the goal is uncontested control of Iranian airspace, allowing U.S. and Israeli forces to operate around the clock against missile systems, defense infrastructure, and military leadership targets. He described the effort as sustained and overwhelming, saying operations will continue until objectives are achieved.
