All Aboard the 2027 Orient Express — Europe’s Original Luxury Journey
The Orient Express, the world’s most iconic luxury train, is making a grand return. A new exhibition in Paris celebrates the 100th anniversary of the Art Deco movement and reveals the rebirth of the Orient Express, set to begin service again in 2027.
First launched in the late 19th century and made famous by novels and films like Murder on the Orient Express, the train has always represented elegance, fine craftsmanship, and adventure.
Designed by architect Maxime d’Angeac, the new Orient Express blends 1920s glamour with smart modern features — velvet seating, glass detailing, and suites that convert into bedrooms at the touch of a button.
It will carry 64 passengers from Paris to Istanbul, offering fine dining and hotel-style service on rails. The project honors the spirit of innovation that defined Art Deco: combining function, comfort, and style.
