Snoop Dogg Gets Surprise Role at Winter Olympics
Snoop Dogg has returned to the Olympics with an official new role: honorary coach for Team USA at the 2026 Winter Games in Cortina.
The rapper and NBC correspondent is bringing his signature bold fashion and infectious enthusiasm to the Italian Alps, sporting a series of unforgettable looks including a full-length white fluffy coat, fire-engine red accessories, and a houndstooth coat paired with a furry beanie.
This marks the first time Team USA has appointed an honorary coach, a volunteer position designed to let Snoop use “his signature humor and heart to help motivate Team USA athletes.”
A longtime sports fan and torch-bearer at both the 2024 Paris Games and this year’s Winter Olympics, Snoop is fully in his element, commentating on events, mingling with crowds, and declaring, “It’s going down in Cortina.”
His genuine passion and flamboyant style have made him an unexpected but beloved fixture of the Olympic experience.
