UFC to Host First-Ever Fight Night at the White House in 2026
In a historic announcement, UFC CEO Dana White confirmed that the organization will host its first-ever fight event on the White House South Lawn on July 4, 2026, to mark the 250th anniversary of the United States.
The event, backed by President Donald Trump, is expected to draw up to 25,000 fans and will be broadcast live on CBS as part of the UFC’s new $7.7 billion, seven-year deal with Paramount.
White, who transformed UFC from a struggling promotion in 2001 into a $12 billion global powerhouse, said he will meet with Trump and Ivanka Trump later this month to finalize logistics, including custom renderings of the setup.
While UFC fights are typically held in large arenas, this will be the first time the octagon cage is built on the grounds of the White House. The fight night will be part of a yearlong national celebration, alongside other events at U.S. historic sites.
Trump’s second term has already brought sweeping White House renovations, and the UFC spectacle will add to his legacy of high-profile, unconventional events. White called the occasion “a one-of-a-kind moment in UFC and U.S. history” that will cement the organization’s place among the biggest sports in the world.
