Operation Epic Fury enters its 14th day as President Trump warned Iran in a Fox News Radio interview to cease threatening U.S. forces and global shipping or face stronger American military action. He added that the United States is prepared to escort oil tankers through the Strait of Hormuz to keep the energy corridor open. At the Pentagon, Secretary of War Pete Hegseth said U.S. and Israeli forces are decimating Iran’s military, with the country now lacking effective air defenses and a functioning air force. Joint Chiefs Chairman General Dan Caine said today will be the heaviest day of strikes so far, with thousands of targets hit and continuous air operations ongoing. In Iraq, six U.S. service members were killed after a KC-135 refueling aircraft crashed during a combat mission, bringing the total U.S. losses to 13 since the start of the war. Back in the U.S., the FBI and Homeland Security are investigating an antisemitic attack at a Michigan synagogue, while the Old Dominion University shooting in Virginia has been linked to an Islamic State supporter.
