The USS Spruance (DDG-111) has taken center stage in the Arabian Sea after disabling and seizing the Iranian-flagged cargo ship M/V Touska.

This Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer is a marvel of modern naval engineering, featuring a $1 billion price tag and pioneering technologies like the Gigabit Ethernet Data Multiplex System and the ODIN laser defense system.
