Sony Raises PlayStation 5 Prices in the US

Sony has announced a $50 price increase on PlayStation 5 consoles in the United States, citing President Donald Trump’s tariffs and a “challenging economic environment.” The new prices set the standard PS5 at $550, the Digital Edition at $500, and the Pro version at $750. Sony said tariffs could cost the company $680 million this fiscal year, forcing them to pass some of that burden onto consumers.
