London Breaks World Record With Giant Tiramisu

London has officially claimed the Guinness World Record for the world’s longest tiramisu, shattering a previous record held by Milan since 2019.

On April 26, a team of 100 chefs assembled at Chelsea Old Town Hall to construct a massive dessert that measured an incredible 1,445.5 feet in length—surpassing the previous record by over 500 feet.

To achieve this culinary feat, the team utilized approximately 19,000 eggs, 1,023 pounds of sugar, 152,000 biscuits, and a staggering 3,968 pounds of mascarpone cheese. Beyond the record attempt, the tiramisu served as a tribute to King Charles III, decorated with his royal cypher and a message of gratitude.

The event was verified on-site by Guinness World Records, marking a historic and massive achievement for the UK’s food scene.
