Karoline Leavitt Says No Set Deadline in Iran Talks
White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said the administration has no fixed deadline for ongoing discussions involving Iran, stating that timing decisions remain under the authority of President Donald Trump.
Leavitt said U.S. negotiating teams have met directly with counterparts in person, but described internal divisions within Iran that she said reflect broader instability during the current crisis.
She also rejected reports suggesting a 3–5 day deadline for Iran to respond, calling them inaccurate and emphasizing that no formal timeline has been established by the administration.
According to her remarks, the president will ultimately determine the pace and structure of any future steps in the process as discussions continue.
