Leavitt: Iranian Navy Now “Combat Ineffective”

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said the United States military has significantly degraded the naval capabilities of Iran during Operation Epic Fury.

According to Leavitt, more than 50 vessels belonging to the Islamic Republic of Iran Navy have been destroyed, including a major drone carrier ship.

She said none of the regime’s vessels are currently operating in major regional waterways and that the Iranian navy has been assessed as “combat ineffective.”

Leavitt also said more than 5,000 enemy targets have been struck since the beginning of the operation. She added that Iran’s ballistic missile attacks have fallen by more than 90 percent and drone attacks have declined by roughly 85 percent.

She said the overall trend shows U.S. military capabilities increasing while Iran’s ability to respond continues to decline.
