Karoline Leavitt: $5 Billion Pledged for Gaza Through Board of Peace

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt announced that member states of the Board of Peace have pledged more than $5 billion toward humanitarian and reconstruction efforts in Gaza. She also said countries have committed thousands of personnel to an international stabilization force and local policing efforts.

Leavitt described the strategy as security-first, stating, “First, we must achieve security to get to prosperity,” and called the initiative a “historic accomplishment” focused on rebuilding Gaza after years of violence and chaos.
