Iranian Diplomacy is missing one thing: Logic

Donald Trump announced the launch of “Project Freedom,” a U.S.-led mission to assist commercial vessels transiting the Strait of Hormuz beginning Monday, amid renewed tensions with Iran.

The move follows a ceasefire framework in which Iran had agreed to reopen the strategic waterway. U.S. officials say the mission aims to ensure safe passage after disruptions to maritime traffic raised concerns over global trade and energy flows. The operation includes more than 15,000 U.S. troops and roughly 100 aircraft dedicated to securing the corridor.

Iranian officials have condemned the effort, calling it a violation of the agreement. In response, Iran launched multiple missiles toward the United Arab Emirates, though officials say the projectiles were intercepted or failed to reach targets, with no reported casualties.

The escalation underscores growing tensions in the region, as the United States moves to enforce maritime access while Iran signals strong opposition to foreign involvement in the waterway.
