Giant LED Domes Turn Movies Into Real-Life Worlds

U.S.-based entertainment company Cosm is redefining the cinematic experience through its “shared reality” LED domes, which offer viewers a level of immersion far beyond traditional theaters.

With current venues operating in Los Angeles and Dallas and several more planned for cities like Atlanta and Detroit, Cosm uses towering curved LED screens to wrap audiences in a 360-degree visual spectacle.

In collaboration with Little Cinema and Warner Bros., the company has transformed iconic films like The Matrix and Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone into enveloping events where fans feel as though they are flying through Hogwarts.

These screenings are augmented with themed food, drinks like butterbeer, and interactive “Easter eggs” that bring the film’s environment to life, bridging the gap between watching a movie and living inside it.
