Elon Musk’s Father Accused of Sexually Abusing Children and Stepchildren
Errol Musk, the 79-year-old father of Tesla and SpaceX chief executive Elon Musk, has been accused of sexually abusing five of his children and stepchildren since 1993, according to a detailed investigation by The New York Times.
The report, based on court documents, family letters, emails, and interviews, outlines allegations including inappropriate touching of a stepdaughter as young as four and other incidents spanning decades.
It also cites three separate law enforcement investigations, two of which ended without action and one with unclear results.
Errol Musk, who has at least nine children and stepchildren, dismissed the accusations as “absolute rubbish” and claimed relatives were manipulating the children to make false claims, suggesting they were motivated by attempts to extort Elon Musk.
The billionaire has rarely spoken publicly about his father, but in past interviews described their relationship as deeply troubled. While Elon Musk has not commented on the latest report, the allegations cast new light on the strained family history surrounding one of the world’s most high-profile entrepreneurs.
