Dawson’s Creek Star Auctions Iconic Memorabilia to Fight Cancer

James Van Der Beek, the actor who defined a generation through his role as Dawson Leery on Dawson’s Creek, is auctioning off some of his most iconic memorabilia to help cover costs associated with his stage 3 colorectal cancer treatment.

In partnership with the UK-based Propstore, the early-December auction features beloved pieces from the show, including Dawson’s pilot-episode outfit, the necklace he gave Joey Potter, the white Arcadia sweater, various flannels, bedroom props such as his E.T. plush and Indiana Jones figurine box, and items from Varsity Blues, like his West Canaan Coyotes cap and Reebok cleats.

Propstore notes that actors rarely receive this level of memorabilia, making the items even more valuable to fans.

The sale offers supporters a chance to own meaningful pieces from the actor’s career while contributing to his battle against cancer.
