Brussels Turns Chocolate into Easter Art for Charity

Brussels has become the center of a unique culinary celebration as forty of Belgium’s most prestigious chocolatiers collaborated to launch the “Bel’Oeuf” exhibition. Led by master chocolatier Marc Ducobu and hosted at the historic Hotel Amigo, the event showcases high-end, Easter egg-themed edible artworks designed to celebrate Belgium’s world-class chocolate heritage. Beyond the aesthetic and artisanal value, the exhibition serves a significant philanthropic purpose, with all admission fees and artwork sales—priced at 900 euros each—being donated to Televie, a prominent Belgian organization dedicated to cancer research. The public has until April 8 to witness these intricate creations in the heart of the Gothic Grand-Place district, blending the country’s famous chocolate craftsmanship with a mission to fund life-saving medical science.
